In accordance with Article 8, the Agreement was subject to ratification or approval and instruments of ratification or approval of the Agreement were deposited by the signatory States with the Government of the United States of America. The Agreement entered into force on the same date as the Agreement to supplement the Agreement between the Parties to the North Atlantic Treaty regarding the Status of their Forces with respect to Foreign Forces stationed in the Federal Republic of Germany.
