Founded in 1967, ACS International Schools serve the needs of global and local families across four campuses, three in the UK and one in Doha. ACS Egham is non-sectarian and co-educational and is where diversity, innovation, academic excellence and global awareness come together to deliver an exceptional school experience.  The school currently has 520 students aged 4 to 18 years, representing almost 60 nationalities.  The school year comprises two semesters from late August to mid-June.

School Mission Statement: At the highest level, our purpose is to inspire the world’s next global thinkers and doers. When leaving ACS, our students face the world as effective, confident and caring individuals who are ready to act, lead, care and change the world.

Organization: ACS International Schools is governed by a board of non-executive trustees; each trustee is elected for a three-year term. The board appoints the Chief Executive Officer for the organization with an executive team reporting directly to the CEO. This team consists of a Marketing, Development & Admissions Director, HR Director, Chief Finance & Estates Officer, Director of Education & Integrated Technology, Partnerships Director and the four Heads of Schools.

Curriculum: The robust curriculum is built on international standards, offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, IB Middle Years Programme, IB Career-related Programme, IB Diploma Programme and U.S. High School Diploma.  The expert teachers and staff members not only educate but provide personalized pastoral care to students in early childhood and lower school ages 4 to 11 (grades 1-4), middle school ages 11-14 (grades 5-8), and high school ages 14-18 (grades 9-12).  Alongside the core subjects, a wide range of study options are available including drama, art, music, and physical education.

Cocurricular: There are a wide range of activities helping to provide a well-rounded and balanced school experience, including science, innovative tech, music, sports clubs, Project Nepal and The Duke of Edinburgh’s award.

Accreditation: The school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), IB, Independent Schools Association (ISA), European Council of International Schools (ECIS) and Council of International Schools (CIS).

Faculty: In the 2023-2024 school year, there are 146 full-time and 67 part-time faculty members, including 11 U.S. citizens, 33 host-country nationals, and 23 third-country nationals.

Enrollment: As of September 2023, enrolment is 476.  Of the total, 40 are U.S. citizens, 182 are host-country nationals, and 254 are third-country nationals.

Facilities: The 22-acre campus is home to an extensive range of quality sports facilities including sports fields, all weather tennis courts and a Sports Complex featuring two FIBA basketball courts and a climbing wall.  Key education facilities include a Design Technology and Art Annex with interactive modular classrooms, two IT labs, Science wing with five labs, Student Centre with Performing Arts Centre and a Forest School.

Finances: The current annual tuition fees are as follows (these ranges include all grades): Day tuition from £12,780 to £29,990. Tuition fees by grade are available on the website or from the Admissions Team.
