Ambassador at Large for Cyberspace and Digital Policy Nathaniel C. Fick will travel to West Lafayette, Indiana for a visit to Purdue University from October 17 to 19, 2023.

Advancing an affirmative vision to build a secure, resilient, and rights-respecting digital ecosystem requires collaboration across multistakeholder communities and strengthening our cyber and digital workforce.  Key to the Secretary’s modernization agenda is enhancing the Department’s capacity and expertise in critical mission areas, like cyber, digital and critical and emerging technology. In support of that goal, Ambassador Fick will travel to Purdue University, meet with a range of partners to discuss recruitment of the next generation of cyber and digital policy professionals, and review the University’s cyber, digital, and emerging technology training programs and research efforts. On October 19th at 10:30 a.m. EDT, Ambassador Fick will speak with students, faculty, and community members in a Krach Institute Freedom Lecture & Purdue Distinguished Ambassador Lecture Series at the Purdue Memorial Union North Ballroom: Register for in-person attendance or livestream link here.
