Ella Lipin
Ella Lipin serves as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs, with a focus on strategy, elections and appointments in multilateral organizations, public affairs, and Congressional outreach. Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor to the Principal Deputy National Security Advisor.  Previously, Ms. Lipin was the National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to Senator Catherine Cortez-Masto.  She also held positions at the U.S. Department of Defense, including as Egypt Country Director and speechwriter for the Secretary of Defense. She served on the Biden-Harris Transition’s national security and foreign policy team.  Ms. Lipin has a Master’s in Public Affairs from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
