U.S. Assistance to Argentina U.S. assistance in Argentina promotes regional stability and democracy as well as non-proliferation and nuclear security through cooperation on export controls and border security. The United States and Argentina also cooperate on economic revitalization and public security. The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) Bureau provides funds to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) U.S. assistance in Argentina promotes regional stability and democracy as well as non-proliferation and nuclear security through cooperation on export controls and border security. This includes 3,500,000 Moderna doses. Of the 3,500,000 of vaccine doses, 100% were donated through bilateral agreements. The United States is committed to leading an international and coordinated effort to accelerate access to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines to meet global needs. The United States is working with other governments and partners including COVAX, Caricom, and the African Vaccine Acquisition Trust (AVAT) to protect communities from COVID-19 and apply lessons from this pandemic to enhance health security now and in the future.
