Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman met with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Director-General Qu Dongyu today in Rome, Italy. Deputy Secretary Sherman and Director-General Qu emphasized the importance of FAO’s mandate to respond to the current global food security crisis, exacerbated by Russia’s unprovoked war in Ukraine.
