Section 221 of the Iran Threat Reduction and Syria Human Rights Act of 2012, Public Law 112-158 (TRA), enacted on August 10, 2012, requires the  President to publish a list of individuals whom the President has determined are senior Iranian officials involved in Iran’s illicit nuclear activities or proliferation of  weapons of mass destruction (WMD) or delivery systems for WMD; support for  international terrorism; or the commission of serious human rights abuses against  Iranian citizens or their family members, as well as family members of such  officials. This report, prepared annually by the Department of State, is being  submitted to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Ways and  Means, and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives,  and the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and  Urban Affairs, and the Committee on Finance of the Senate. 

The Department of State identified the following individuals as meeting  the criteria for immigration restrictions under TRA Section 221, with titles current  at the time of the designation:
