Secretary Blinken Participates in a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony with the Smithsonian Institution

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will deliver remarks and participate in a signing ceremony to expand the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of State and the Smithsonian Institution on Tuesday, October 10, at 2:00 p.m. The expanded MOU will foster increased collaboration and reinvigorate our joint commitment to an inclusive range of cultural, educational, and scientific activities, programs and exchanges.

Secretary Blinken will be joined by Secretary of the Smithsonian Lonnie G. Bunch III and Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Elizabeth M. Allen. The event will take place at the Department of State.
