Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský today.  The Secretary and the Foreign Minister reaffirmed our countries’ resolute support for Ukraine as it defends itself from Russia’s aggression and discussed coordination on Czechia’s defense modernization.  They discussed the importance of our shared democratic values, the strong U.S.-Czech relationship, and continued humanitarian support to Palestinian civilians.  The Secretary and the Foreign Minister also explored deeper cooperation on energy issues and on supporting Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international fora.
