Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met today in Vilnius with German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock.  The Secretary thanked Germany for its strong support for Ukraine, including military, financial, and humanitarian assistance.  Secretary Blinken underscored the United States’ steadfast commitment to NATO and expanding the Alliance as swiftly as possible with Sweden’s membership.  The Secretary and Foreign Minister also discussed the situation in the Western Balkans, countering challenges posed by the PRC, and our shared commitment to global peace and security.
