Secretary Blinken’s Meeting with InterAction and Member NGOs

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met yesterday with InterAction’s President and CEO Tom Hart and fellow NGO leaders to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza and continued U.S. efforts to increase humanitarian access and assistance for Palestinian civilians.  Secretary Blinken emphasized the imperative that civilians and humanitarian staff must be protected. He thanked the NGO leaders, staff, and local partners for their ongoing, tireless, and life-saving work to assist the people of Gaza and others in need around the world.
