Special Envoy Finkenauer’s Travel to Qatar

U.S. Department of State Special Envoy for Global Youth Issues Abby Finkenauer will travel to Doha, Qatar December 5-6, 2023. Special Envoy Finkenauer’s travel underscores the United States’ commitment to youth in the Middle East and the importance of partnering with young people to develop innovative solutions to address global challenges.

During the trip, the Special Envoy will meet with Qatari officials, facilitate discussions, and engage with emerging leaders and advocates in the region. She will also engage with youth across a variety of sectors, focusing on civic participation, women’s social empowerment, and environmental protection.
