Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Hammer Travels to Los Angeles, California

U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Mike Hammer will travel to Los Angeles January 25-29 to participate in the second in a series of women’s empowerment workshops for diaspora communities sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.  The January 26 event, hosted by HBCU Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science and the United Women of the Horn (UWH) will feature a panel discussion with elected women leaders.  During his visit, Ambassador Hammer will also engage with diverse representatives of the Ethiopian diaspora.
