Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry will travel to London, United Kingdom from July 20 to July 21, 2021.

While in London, he will deliver remarks on the urgency of global climate action on Tuesday, July 20, at 3:00 p.m. BST at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.  The event will be live-streamed at https://www.chathamhouse.org/ .  Media wishing to request accreditation and participate in person should email presslon@state.gov by Monday, July 19, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. BST.

Special Envoy Kerry will then travel on to Rome and Naples, Italy, from July 21 to July 23, 2021, to attend the G20 Ministerial Meeting on Environment, Climate and Energy on July 22 and July 23, 2021.

Special Envoy Kerry will then return to London, United Kingdom, from July 24 to July 26, 2021, to discuss further with counterparts efforts leading up to the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) scheduled for October 31 to November 12, 2021, in Glasgow, UK.
