The annual Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum will be held at UN Headquarters in New York from April 16-18.  The U.S. delegation to the Forum will be led by Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Representative of the United States to the UN, with Ambassador Lisa Carty, U.S. Representative to ECOSOC, and will also feature the participation of U.S. Special Envoy for Global Youth Issues Abby Finkenauer and USAID Youth Coordinator Sarah Sladen.  This year’s Forum will focus on youth perspectives to reinforce the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals.  Thematic sessions will include youth in climate change, global food security, and artificial intelligence.
