The first Summit for Democracy provided a platform for leaders to announce both individual and collective commitments, reforms, and initiatives that defend democracy and human rights at home and abroad. In addition to their Official Intervention Statements, participating delegations were invited to submit a written compendium of announcements, pledges, and/or commitments.

Additional commitments will be processed as received from delegations and posted online. The list below reflects those that submitted commitments in writing; if a hyperlink is missing that means the commitments are still undergoing a mandatory accessibility compliance review. For those that did not submit commitments in writing, their official interventions statements will serve as a roadmap for their commitments in the Year of Action. All submissions represent the views of the submitting Government, and do not represent the views of the United States Government.
