Summer Sisters Exchange Program

The Council continues to support Summer Sisters, an exchange program funded by U.S. Embassy Islamabad, to support underprivileged adolescent girls from across Pakistan gain academic experiences at leading U.S. universities and leadership development programs through summer study. Summer Sisters has reached more than 90 young women from Pakistan since 2014. Participating universities have included American University, Babson College, Barnard College, Duke University, Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill, Brown University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Smith University, the University of Chicago, and Washington University.
